Bayonetta OST-Mysterious Destiny

Bayonetta, you're a mystery
You come along with a destiny
This is your life, a battlefield telling you who you are
Bayonetta, this is your time
You're gonna sparkle, you're gonna shine
Girl, when you fight it looks like a dance, you are magic, you're magic

Come on, come on, come on, there's only one way, your way
Come on, come on, come on, you know there's only one way, your way
Dance, fight, spin around, spin around
Dance, fight, fly higher, fly higher, fly higher

Bayonetta, you bury your loneliness deep down in your eyes
Sadness lies in your smile
But victory shines in your eyes
You're still alive

Just as stated in the FAQ about weapon skins :

At the launch of the Weapon Card system we will not be supporting Steam Marketplace. However, in January we will be initially looking to implement Steam Marketplace support for dropped cases; allowing you guys to sell any cases you don’t want to open.

    EDIT : @dlux was faster :D

  • Oh i love that RtCW music in the end. :)

So I may not even be able to get the skin I want with the gun I want not thanks to @$!# RNG but just not available? System just sounds worse and worse every day...

I'd rather have some balance slapped on my gun than a finish.

I don't know how many years have passed. I still despise the Minemonkey and it'll never change!
MOFO update wasn't such a disappointment
CMM is the absolute worst thing SD could've made. It doesn't work at all and makes finding OBJ games so much harder. I would really like to know who at SD had that bright idea.

  • You forgot this one :P

    1. Sell useless boxes.
    2. Don't buy weapon skins.
    3. Profit!!!

As Nader keeps saying: "I can't believe I get paid for this." :)

Maybe after I sell 50-75 boxes I can make a dollar!

We will see. If it's that bad, turning them into fragments will be a better deal unless your time is worth nothing.

AFAIR most CS:GO drops sold for 0.05 net value, some where about 0.20 and every once in a while I got something worth a few Euros. And you can put them on the market while you wait for the match making.

  • Still no help with duplicate se cards? Stuck with them forever I guess. At least I can cover them with useless and real money coatings skins.

Locked Cases drop very occasionally in-game in the post match screen. To open these Cases you will need to buy a key from the store (USD $2.49). Unlocked Cases can be purchased in the store for USD $4.99.

I might actually just stop playing.

I have supported DB by spending money on it in the past. I don't want every moment I'm not spending money to be locked out or a grind.

I think SD mentioned they have plans to expand the marketplace for loadout cards too, weapon skins are just the first part.
Still annoying there was no temporary system brought up in the mean time, but oh well.

Apparently you can recycle weapon skin cases you don't want to open in exchange for fragments. They also mentioned keys will drop in the next event, so maybe more events like that will follow. Not like you're really locked out regardless. It just means you'll have to rock the default weapon skin on your loadout, and a lot of them are alright regardless.

Still kinda sucks though. 2.50 USD for an RNG case key seems really steep to me. Not being able to pick the weapon, rarity, etc, and then including subrarities on top of standard rarities? No thanks.

I guess some people don't mind paying 10 billion dollars for a weapon skin, CS:GO makes that clear, but I'm not one of those people. In fact, I play DB to avoid that mindset. The only things I've bought off this game have been to support SD, but this just seems a bit much.

You act like skins are mandatory.

Honestly it's not so bad. Some of the "balance" updates are questionable, but then again, the last patch was worse.
If you just ignore the skins and play it as if it were any other event, it's not bad at all. You get a couple free ones anyways, so meh.

I'ms till disappointed with how weapon skins were added, but it's not like they affect anything else.

But i don't want to trade those hard earned SE cards. For some events, we'd have to play for hours and open 100/200+ cases to just got ONE special skin card. And im sure that some players even bought elite cases bundle to got them. What we want, is a reliable way to use them without being screwed. And trading those cards is NOT a reliable way to solve this issue.

My lasting hope is that the future loadout system they're working on will offer a way to use skins with whatever loadout we want.

EDIT : The only issue steam trading will solve is the duplicate problem, when you get the same skin with the same loadout.

    Sell every case

    EVERY SINGLE CASE

Oh wait.. that means people need to actually want to BUY cases too

Welp.. there goes that plan. Poor house it is.

Well I mean, you can always trade it for another special edition.

Like, I just got a duplicate nuclear winter sparks. In theory I could trade that, or any other special edition card I didn't like, for one that I did in the same skin. The nice thing about loadout cards is that very few of them are actually bad, just different, and everyone has different preferences.
Sure, it might be difficult to set up that trade and find someone who would trade actually tolen sparks for an empire 9, but there are people out there who would be happy to do so. Keep in mind there are lots of people in the same boat as you.
In fact, I already have a few trades set up already, I'm just waiting until the system goes live.

Don't get me wrong, the loadout system still kinda sucks, but at least they're finally doing something that can at least help.

  • So SD's response to this massive public outcry against rng loot boxes is to... add more rng loot boxes...

It's clearly not (if it is, I don't know what to think), it's their response to the requests for more customization. And (as they stated many times) they will release obsidian weapon skins, which are direct buy. Plus event weapon skins have a wider usability than loadouts.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't too happy with the reveal either, but I'm fed up with the negativity

  • @hurgya dont get me wrong, i like db, i sunk a lot of time into it. I came back after a uear and saw all of this content with new maps and mercs and it got me back into the game. They have come a long ways from the horrors of the containment war, but i am just so sick of anti consumer practices.

What are they going to do on release? Anyone who has some semblance of influence that might look at db again, only to see that its full of not only lootboxes but locked weaponskin crates is not going to cast it in a good light.

Angry Joe's video is still one of the first things that pops up when you search for anything db related on youtube. So what is Splash Damage going to expect? Sure you have a dedicated playerbase right now, but how is that going to grow in a post ea battlefront 2/call of duty ww2 world where lootboxes are the prime evil?

Anyways the most egregious for me is the ranked skins, because there is nothing like putting all of this time to get good at a select few mercs for ranked, only to get a card for a merc you dont even use.

If they'd be fair the verdict should be that it's a fun game without pay to win where bronze loadouts are easy to get without money and weapon skins are unneeded. However, it has an amoral RNG based business model where people with a lack of self control are tricked into wasting large amounts of money for a small chance to get the cosmetic they desire.

They have come a long ways from the horrors of the containment war, but i am just so sick of anti consumer practices.

While SD could have stepped up and derived a business model that does not abuse consumers, they apparently decided to go with the flow. Their game, their choice. Hopefully this will eventually be solved by laws that just forbid FPS themed online casinos.

So all you can do right now is just don't buy RNG crap and vote for people that try to introduce laws against it.

  • Yeah its just a shame that you have this pretty decent game here, that could be so much better, but whenever anything new happens its always more rng boxes. So instead of having these cool new things they come out with, its "oh look more boxes I have to grind for or spend a crapton of money on to get what I want"

It couldn't be that big of a hit to db's income right? ITs just frustrating because I want to support the game, but I am not going to support these anti-consumer practices anymore. I put money into event boxes before, and I am not doing that again.

Having played a bit on the update I can’t say I’m a fan. The decks appear to be a money grab. I love DB, it’s the one game I play but I can’t say I’ll support the skins at all. You can’t apply a skin to multiple decks, or trinkets for that matter, so if you have multiple mercs with the same primary you have to have a unique card for each. While I get the purpose I can’t say that I support it. I have three of four cards I utilize that have the blish and I would have to purchase that many skins, praying to rnjesus the whole time, give me a break. I’ll play, but I don’t care at all for the skins, aesthetically or in concept, and won’t be investing any capital into them and will likely not invest any more real money into the game. I just feel they went overboard. While events and such are great, they lose the specialness when it’s event after event after event with SE after Se.
